Blind began as a student project in 2007 at the Savannah College of Art and Design. A group of sophomore game design students got together and began designing a game around the idea of being blind. During our Introduction to Game Design class, that idea became an idea we strongly believed would be an innovative game. We fleshed out our basic concept over the next year with the goal of taking it into Brenda Brathwaite's Applied Game Design class at the start of our junior year. Our goal once in the class was to complete a design document for the game, as well as a series of mock screenshots and tech demos to clearly illustrate our vision for the game.
